Hijack, born Jacques Guetta in 1992, is a contemporary street artist based in Los Angeles. He is the son of the renowned pop artist Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta) and grew up surrounded by famous street artists like Space Invader, Banksy, and Shepard Fairey. Hijack’s art combines fine art and street art, creating visual commentaries on social and political issues with a unique blend of realism and imaginative construction.

Hijack made a significant impact on the UK art scene in 2013 with his debut at Mead Carney Fine Art Gallery in London, a show that sold out quickly. His work has been featured in numerous cultural hotspots worldwide, including Los Angeles and London, and he has collaborated with prominent street artists like NY’s Cope and Japan’s Dragon 76.

His art often incorporates stencils, acrylics, and mixed media, characterized by vivid imagery and thoughtful messages. Hijack’s style is known for its dark humor and thought-provoking themes, tackling issues like climate change and societal norms. One of his notable exhibitions, “Eco-Librium,” aimed to raise awareness about ecological balance and climate change.

Hijack’s works continue to push the boundaries of contemporary art, and he remains an influential figure in the street art community, captivating audiences with his powerful visual narratives and innovative techniques.
