Artist Bio

Sam Halaby is a contemporary mixed-media artist born and raised in the Druze village of Daliyat al-Karmel, nestled on the slopes of Mount Carmel in northern Israel. Growing up surrounded by the region’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and close-knit community, Halaby developed an early appreciation for color, creativity, and artistic expression.

Drawing inspiration from both his Druze heritage and the landscapes that shaped his upbringing, Halaby creates dynamic works that celebrate life, nature, and human connection. His distinctive artistic style combines painting, sculpture, and mixed media techniques, resulting in highly textured compositions that burst with movement and color.

Halaby gained international attention through his visionary project known as The House of Colors, where he transformed his childhood home into a remarkable immersive artwork covered in vivid colors, patterns, and sculptural elements.The project became a symbol of creativity and optimism, attracting visitors and media attention from around the world.
